Nigerian Army To Face N1bn Lawsuit Over Shooting Of Student. Tope Akinyode, a human right lawyer and activist, is prepared to drag the Nigerian Army to court over shooting of a polytechnic student. The student named Emmanuel Madubuezi, was reportedly shot by Nigerian army personnel in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. Madubuezi was on the September 14th 2017 hit by stray bullets from Nigerian Army operatives while in a commercial tricycle on his way to school.
