Ur gonna need a very gd 2D graphics editor like photoshop for creating textures ,backgrounds etc. For 3D, Maya is commonly used. Try searchin for d crack version of these softwares either on the piratebay website or thru a torrent application like Ares. If u cant get these softwares online, I would suggest u go to your nearest APTECH or NIIT centre dat offers graphic design courses n if u ask arnd im sure u will meet someone dat cud sort u out wit d softwares n may be a couple of tutorials n pointers. |

Get Blender http://www.blender.org/ It is free, open-source and it is of industrial standard. Learning materials abound on the internet. Here is a popular resource: http://www.blendercourse.com/English.aspx 1 Like |

I just downloaded blender and i'm still "lost" in it. . .lol How can i get maya,cinema4,3dmax and other related software? Do i buy the originals (which are probably way out of my budget)? Or are there sites/torrents where i can download cracked copies (at the risk of spyware/viruses)? |

don't do anything illegal. Use blender. force yourself to master it. It's a challenge, but a fun challenge. The new blender 2.5 version has a completely changed interface, making it look even sexier than 3ds max. 1 Like |

Use Blender. It's beautiful. The new user interface introduced in the 2.5x series is a thrill. The tutorials are free. (majority of them). _ Download the software and manuals here: www.blender.org _ For quality, free tutorials, go here: www.blenderguru.com www.blendercookie.com www.blenderdiplom.com _ It's a high-level modelling, compositing, rendering, linear-video-editing software. THAT'S FREE!!! |

Stick to visual basic or web developtment, you not ready for 3d-animation, at least you think you are, its far more broader than you think when it comes to learning it, besides there are very little companies offering training and those that do via CD, charge a huge amount to purchase the tutor software. |
