Since 1960 until present, Nigeria has brought nothing, but shame,disgrace and disappoint to citizens that occupy this geographical space in Africa, as well as Nigerians in diaspora.

The last time Nigerians were all united and felt a sense of pride,was in the 1996, when the Super Eagles won the gold medal in the 1996 Olympics. It was one of the historical moments where all tribes were united in rooting for a team that was selected based on merit. And put Nigeria on the world map as a nation to be reckoned with and brought us good publicity and accolades from around the world.

We selected our best 11 based on skill,abilities and knowledge. And it showed what could have been, if like other nations we selected the best fit for the job at all levels in our country.

Nigeria based on all indices is a failed state, that can't cater or provide for it's citizens. From 1960, until present we selected the worst team and managers to run the affairs, with disastrous results at all levels. And that is the only difference between Nigeria and the world economic powers.-they select their best eleven at all sectors, while be select our worst.

If we want to win, we have to use the same criteria used to select the 1996 Super Eagles team. The elections in 2023 is not far away, we must select the best the country has to offer. We must look beyond PDP,APC and APGA .

We have the best human resources in the world. In 2023 I want to see the Linda Ikeji's,Jay Jay Okocha, Don Jazzy, Genevieve Nnahji,Femi Falana,Adebayo Ogunlesi in positions of influence and power.

That is why our country can never be great. The greatest civilizations were built on a system of meritocracy.
