So, religious people have been claiming that God answer prayer since time immemorial. Whereas, I haven't found any reasonable evidence for such claim.

If you believe in prayers, tell us about your experience.

PRAYING TO GOD WORKS ON THE SAME LEVEL THAT PRAYING TO A STONE DOES. YOU EITHER GET WHAT YOU WANT OR YOU DON'T. THERE'S NOTHING LISTENING TO YOUR PRAYERS AND YOU CAN ONLY ACHIEVE ANYTHING IF YOU TRY TO WORK BY YOURSELF.

It’s not God , it’s us learning to yield to his wisdom. Hinderance can only be due to our insensitivity

Depends on the god you are praying to. All gods and goddesses have been apportioned: GOD(Zeus), belongs to the greeks. Jehovah(Yahweh) belongs to the Jews. The Buddha belongs to the Chinese. Allah belongs to the Arabs. While every tribe in Africa have their indigenous gods/goddesses. The christians muslims in Africa are grossly mistaken in praying to a god that is not of their origin. e.g YAHWEH will easily answer the prayer of a Jew than that of an Igbo man..

According to the book (Bible) God answers prayers, but for you to believe (trust) someone you must have known how he does things NOT what someone just told you about him!

If you're counting on the opinions of those misinformed churchgoers, you can never see how God answers prayers.

Because they're painting a totally different perspective when talking about the Author of the Bible!

Imagine your question,

Whereas the book Bible tells of how
©Cain killed Abel.
©Joseph was imprisoned for denying sexual advances from his master's wife.
©Dinah was raped by Shechem.
©Israelite babies were killed in Egypt.
©Moses never got to the promise land.
©Samson died in the hands of Philistines.

All these people were worshipers of this same God, yet this God allowed them to suffer the consequences of Adam's disobedience only to console them later!

So your perception regarding prayers to this same God should be readjusted Sir! smiley

Isah 59:1-2
1Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

So the SIN of a 7 years old girl is so much that God should ignore her?

From age 9 through 11, I prayed really hard every day that my Dad would stop raping me. With my eyes tightly close an trying to hold back the vomit i felt in my throat each minute he was raping me, I prayed especially hard.

The rapes stopped when he got caught by my mother, but I lived in fear and felt ashamed every day thereafter. I didn't understand why I felt that way, but I did. Singing in my church choir moved me so much, and one day I found God.

I became a 'Jesus Freak': that's what they called the teens who held prayer and scripture meetings before school. Eventually, I was 16 and was assistant teaching Sunday School when I sensed that I needed to be absolved of wrongdoing (my sense of being filthy came from the scriptures), so through prayer I asked God to make the pain go away.

I decided I needed guidance. With anguish, I asked to speak privately with my minister, and told him what happened, but before I could ask for advice , he sternly told me that it "must have been my imagination". My father was an admired man in the community after all.
My prayers and faith were shaken by his response. Thereafter, the harder I prayed, the less worthy I felt. I knew God wouldn't stop my pain. The shame and pain continue to this day.

Over fifty years have passed. I'm wiser; I know now that it was not my fault. But I feel that God doesn't actually send help. I thank God for what I have and for this world, yet I have no idea why God would ignore the cries of any child.

I know there are many innocent children who pray this very minute as they are tortured. Yet their pleas go unanswered. I know of no blessings that come from child rape , and find it really hard to believe that the children needed this pain to learn a lesson from God.
If you are a child being mistreated, know that even though God isn't helping you, this is not your fault. It is not happening because of how you pray.

Problems and Challenges do not Mean GOD does not Answer prayers!

Life is Deep and Full of Mysteries but GOD Remains Faithful!

You don't know the History of the Family or the cause of the misfortune!

Life is Deep! Some Events you see Today are Consequences of Wickedness Done in yester years..

GOD IS not the Cause of your Problem...

GOD IS Faithful

HE is the Solution

I think the question you should ask is why your prayers are not answered . Coz mine were answered. Where should I start from, from casting out demons, to special miracles, to journey mercies, to long life in my family. Have faith, don't doubt. I used to tell God to remember that they that put their trust in him will never be disappointed and indeed, he never disappoints. I love you Yahweh, I love you so much Jesus Christ. Thank you for answering my prayers and proving the enemy wrong in my life

You know some people regard each human as a god based on the idea that we're all aspects or parts of God. While some gods (like the entities worshipped in religions) are worshipped/deified as they do/did some extraordinary or revolutionary through self-discovery, the majority of humans are not worshipped as they are/were not able to discover their "god" nature. Personally, I currently lean towards that school of thought.

(This doesn't mean all the gods and goddesses worshipped in history commanded it.)

In the past (not-so-civilized) world, great people like Messi and Ronaldo would have been deified, just like a number of great scientists and other personalities today.
