Haba, the bar is so low. GSM of the whole Oyo State is being applauded for paying pension? Not about infrastructure (roads, improved power supply, security and industrial zones). All he does is photo ops and kudos for paying salaries.

Why is he being applauded for giving pensioners their rightful entitlement or is there something I'm missing here?

He's because the past administration accumulated those backlogs (since 2013) not his. If he continues like this, history will forever remember him as the best in his time.

March 5, 2019

Agency Report

The Oyo State Government has commenced payments of pensions and gratuities of retired primary school teachers as well as local government workers across the state.

The State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney -General, Seun Abimbola, made the disclosure during a news conference in Ibadan, the state capital on Tuesday.

Mr Abimbola said the sum of N1.5 billion had been released for immediate disbursement to retirees across the state

Ajimobi paid N1.5 billion for gratuity, no problem, just a governor doing his job.

The social media propaganda governor aka local government governor paid meager N180 million, Igbos celebrates, they rejoice and shout makinde for president.

Why are Igbos so synonymous with mediocrity?

They are synonymous with mediocrity because they celebrate mediocrities like wheelbarrow and 1-gallon kerosene sharing achievements, mediocrity is in the blood.

Na wetin naija Don turn her citizen to be that. We always celebrate what is our normal right when provided by our leaders. I think the applause is due to d fact dt d man still try to remember his suffering people unlike other callous governors and ex-governors like that of Osun that has made retirees who left service since year 2011 to suffer but had been borrowing money to construct roads to chop money.
