Breaking News: Court Dismisses Bode George's Appeal

Chief Bode George will spend the remainder of his jail term at the Kirikiri prison in Lagos after a court of appeal sitting in Lagos dismissed his application seeking to upturn his two year sentence. Justice Ogunbiyi JCA said the application lacks merit. The PDP chieftain was sentenced to prison for corruption on October 26, 2009. His prison term is billed to end in July 2011

I support Bode George serving out his jail term and becoming an ex-convict. . .increases d political space but I don't think corruption is PDP affair. he was not burn in PDP and was already old when PDP was formed moreover other parties are not immune to corruption. . .they simply have not found d opportunity to steal. So cut d crap about PDP, corruption and voting.

The political class are Nigeria's bane: we need to encourage young radicals to enter the field.

Why cant this man forfeit his loot so that he can regain his freedom, something like plea bargaining?  Some people can die because of money ooooo
