What do you think about nairaland developing an online marketing app to compete with jiji?
I think it will go a long way to better Nigeria online marketing especially when it will be competitive with "jiji", the Nigeria no. 1 online marketing store.
One of the advantage is that it will grow fast especially when some of its traffic well be generated from nairaland forum and will be very competitive

Hmmm. I doubt if Buhari would want to nominate a former member of GEJ's cabinet. If it's true, then congratulations to her. But why should we continue to recycle same individuals for so many years?

Seriously?

Niger Delta is a region and not a tribe.
Same confused you would say that there are no Igbos in delta, Rivers and Cross river state.
Am I wrong to say that you speak from both sides of your mouth?

Kudos to the president for this kind gesture. At least, Igbos can now let us rest on this forum. Those among them praying for the downfall of Adesina simply because he’s from the south west can now get preoccupied with praying for their Igbo daughter’s success.

I can also bet nobody will talk about nepotism on this thread. The fact that the president withdrew support from Yonov Agah, a Nigerian from the north central and now supports an Igbo lady should not go unnoticed. If it was the other way round, the fury of hell fire would be a child’s play to what they would bring down tonight. I wish her the best in the election.
Because he got no option since there is no other qualified person around. Ngozi's chances is 100%. He may not be happy doing that but no alternative for him. I pity Bubu and his second tenure. Poor old man.

You lack common sense! Kind gesture you mean?

A woman with such qualifications and whos sought after internationally Buhari has no other choice than to support her.

Did you even read the story at all? The current deputy director general of the organization is a Nigerian from the north. He was Nigeria’s candidate until Buhari withdrew support for him and nominated Ngozi for the post.

This must be the hand work of Ibrahim Gambari
The man is unbias and wants the best for the country
He is indeed a technocrat and a diplomat
And he is demonstrating it so far

It doesn’t matter what you feel, I wish her the best in the election. Her victory may be strategic to Nigeria’s trade policies so i support her fully. Some of us don’t hate others unnecessarily like you guys.
You turn again to condemn your acts inadvertently.
Your first comment was filled with hate, most vile hidden resentment towards the Igbos more reason I followed it up in that manner.

He has a choice. In fact, he withdrew the nomination of a northerner to support your Igbo sister. Yuonov Agah served meritoriously for two terms as WTO deputy DG. You guys should show gratitude and stop being ungrateful.

Madam Ngozi is not an Igbo woman, but was married by an Igbo.
Her tribe is Niger delta.
PERIOD!
Where is this creature coming out from? You are lucky I gave you some time yo enlighten you because many may think you are not ok. Ngozi's ogwashiukwu towm people migrated from Nri, their towns are not among all those rubbish stories of Bini nonsense. His father fought the civil war and Ngozi was around fifteen years and her job according to her story during the Biafran war was to cook and fetch water for his Biaftan brothers soldiers. Like I told you earlier, your opinion or how you feel is irrelevant. We don’t do unnecessary emotional hatred in my part of the country. Nigeria’s interest comes first before any other sentiments.

What about Akinwumi Adesina?

We just have to present a more sellable candidate. Who is more sellable than Okonjo Iweala for now?
Definitely “same individuals” that have greatly excelled globally.

Adesina was nominated by gej and not buhari...he was already a candidate when buhari won, he only supported him but wasn't the one that nominated him
