That would be a momentous stupidity because if the U.S. treasury classifies AfDB as a “corrupt institution”, rightly or wrongly, the bank will crash.” You do not mess up with America when it comes to banking ordinance because the U.S. dollar and its banking institutions run the world.


Even the AfDB President will not fault the conclusion of the Board as he does know the implications of going against the wishes of the U.S Treasury.

His meeting with Nigerian President would have fixed his problems, but unfortunately, Nigeria is a spoke in the wheel of global banking – and the U.S. owns the whole.

This is so sad for a continent that have been manipulated for centuries still haven't learnt a thing. Why should Africans allow themselves to be dictated to all the times even to their own detriments? This is extreme stupidity.

The worst of it all, the call for an independent probe is coming from a nation that have had deep rooted hatred for black people for centuries. Are the African leaders blind? Another one is a Airforce millitary base recently completed in November 2019 in Niger, housing several unmanned drones, land to Air missiles and several other weapons that no African have idea of them. The drones are flown on regular basis monitoring West African nations.

The purpose of these multibillions millitary bases are nothing but to keep African leaders in check or possible overtaking the govt if feel threatened. The most unfortunate thing is a lot of educated Africans knows nothing about US policy towards African people including the so called leaders.

For Africa to develop, it would require a collective effort of sharp leaders who desperately want liberation of their people. In fact, anyone who has ties with western world mustnt be allowed to lead unless he/she has demonstrated unrare commitment to the people.

When people like Trump insult the continent, very few leaders from the continent could say a thing because they have their families, houses, investments, saving etc in America. They are loyal to two masters. This is unacceptable

This decision would likely ridicule Africa the more, this would give the USA more power over the sovereignty of African nations in making important decisions in the future. I may not like the chinese system of government but they have always refused decisions like this from outsiders on different occasions and today they are world power to some extent.
