The Federal Government of Nigeria has threatened to review the relaxation of restriction placed on worship centres. This is coming after the Federal Government announcement of the reopening of worship centres nationwide, after months of closure due to COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

Disclosing this on Thursday in Abuja, The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, said that worship centres may be banned again if worshippers disregard guidelines imposed by the Federal Government.

From the guidelines released concerning the reopening of worship centres by the PTF, vulnerable individuals with health challenges and people above 55years of age are advised to worship at home. Other guidelines are to also be fully observed.
