In the Olden times, men served two primary purposes which are, security, protection, farmer and provider. These roles are paramount to the survival of a family which is the smallest unity in the society. Women on the other hand were submissive (Or you go back to your father's compound), good cooks, took care of the kids and assisted the husband on the farm when necessary (but not always). These were the times men held women in high regards as mothers and salt of the world. But why has all these changed? |
