Ways To Make Some Money At Home During The COVID-19 Lockdown by Traderman25: 1:06pm On Jun 05, 2020
Whether people want to believe it or not, Coronavirus lockdown impacts millions of households when it comes to finances. Investors are struggling to find sellers, events are cancelled for the entire year, and people lose their jobs. The ones with no savings in their account and who face job uncertainty are hit the hardest.
Manufacturers, small shops, restaurants and salons have closed their doors to prevent the spread of the virus, and this may leave you wondering “How are you going to make a living during the lockdown?”
This post won’t give you all the answers, but we identified some ways to make money at home that may help you.

1) Help people get fit at home
Yoga studios, gym and even parks are closed, and this leaves people stuck at home, unable to exercise. Now is your moment if you have a fitness certification because you can take your skills online and guide people on how to stay active during the pandemic. You can join the other fitness professionals who use Zoom and similar platforms to connect with clients and create schedules that fit their needs. Before hosting your own classes, check what other trainers do, to get a sense of how to organise your training sessions.
If you don’t have a certification, but you’re a fitness pro and want to use your aptitudes to teach, consider getting a certification online. It’s easy for someone with experience in the field to become a qualified trainer.

2) Consider tutoring
The latest news revealed that the pandemic pushed public education into the 21st century. All schools remain closed, and parents need guidance on how to teach their children at home. You don’t have to be a teacher to tutor children; you only need extensive knowledge in a specific domain. Sign up for an online tutoring platform to connect with prospective clients and navigate the education world through the Internet.
As an online tutor, you provide children with the instruction they need, without exposing them to the health risks of the Coronavirus.
If you have a particular skill like singing, dancing painting or software developing, you can bet there’s a market looking for experts willing to share their knowledge. Use online tools to build online courses and upload them on a platform that offers online classes.

3) Start a podcast or blog
Podcasting, blogging or vlogging are not sure-fire ways to make money, but they can help you build a gig that will pay off in the long run. Select the medium you prefer to connect with your public. The subject you want to discuss influences the choice. You can build a website, start a YouTube channel, create a business account on Instagram or start a podcast.
When you build an audience, you gain revenue from affiliate links and sponsored posts. It takes a while to become a known name in your community, but if you deliver reliable information, you can grow a loyal public that comes back for more news. A phone or laptop is enough to try any of these ideas.

4) Forex trading
Investing in forex trading is one of the best ways to make money, especially if you have financial skills. Don’t start this gig if you lack knowledge because you can end up losing all your savings. Emotional trading is never beneficial for beginner investors. In other words, currency trading is a safe bet if you have the essential technical knowledge about the market.
If you lack skills, it’s never too late to learn more about the Forex world. You’ll need to research the terms to understand the jargon; trading platforms use to share information, study the various methods you can use to place trades, research the pairs of currencies that are more likely to provide steady income and find a reliable brokerage that can be found on the list. It’s smart to use an online platform to find brokers because they provide complete information about most of the entities that operate on the market.
The Internet offers an extensive range of materials for the ones who want to learn how to trade on the forex market, so there’s no excuse to jump headfirst into the business.

5) Review apps
Some online platforms pay you to review websites and apps to help them improve the user experience. You need to register on the platform, and the developers will provide you with a list of apps you can check out. After you use the app for a determined period, you share your feedback and suggest them upgrades that can improve its functionality. Most of the times, it takes less than a few minutes to complete a review, and they pay you for each app you evaluate.

6) Write and publish a book
For the ones who always loved reading books, it’s the moment to use their imagination and create their own world. Publishing a book is easier than ever, now that you can sell it to the Amazon Kindle store. If you have access to the Internet and a laptop you can do everything from home. Research, write the script, edit, publish, and market the book. In the past, you had to collaborate with editors and other third parties to promote a book and attract readers, but now you have plenty of tools online that allow you to complete all the above operations on your own. You can use social media ads to market the book and target an audience that is interested in finding more about the subject you wrote. You can make your book famous, even with a limited budget.
If this is the first book you write, stick with a frequently-searched topic. Once you establish your reputation as a skilled writer, you can write long fictional novels and show your audience your aptitudes.
