GOVERNOR SANI BELLO PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO KONTAGORA EMIRATE COUNCIL

Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello has paid condolence visit to the Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora, HRH, Alh Saidu Namaska over the death of late Alhaji Abdullah Ma'aji, the Mutawallen Kontagora.

The late Maaji who died on Wednesday in Abuja was a grand uncle to Governor Abubakar Sani Bello.

A special prayer session led by the imam of Kontagora Mallam Shehu Raimaye was held for the repose of the soul of the deceased at the Emire's palace, after which the Governor proceeded to the residence of the deceased to sympathize with the family, where prayers were also offered for the reposed soul of the departed.

Governor Sani Bello in the family house described the death of Alhaji Abdullahi as a great loss to Kotagora emirate, the State and the Country as a whole.

He said the loyalty of the deceased dedication, and commitment to selfless service to create positive impact on the lives of the people of the emirate, State and the country will forever be missed.

"We are saddened by the demise of our dear father but we thank Almighty Allah for the life he lived here on earth. He was dedicated, committed and lived an exemplary life. We cannot forget the role he played towards ensuring the development in the State". The Governor said.

"We will miss him, his contributions and wise counsels." He added

He then prayed Allah to grant the deceased Aljannatu fidaus and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Late Alhaji Abdullahi Ma’aji, the Mutawallen who was a grand uncle to Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, was a former Director General, Federal Ministry of Industry,

He died on Wednesday in Abuja after a brief illness.
