Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday presided over the Presidential Power Reform Working Group as he continues to find solutions to Nigeria’s lingering power problems.

President Muhammadu Buhari had on 8 March appointed Prof. Osinbajo to head the Power Sector Reform Coordination Working Group.

The composition of the group was to consolidate the efforts of the federal and state governments to fix the power sector.

The group presided by Vice President Osinbajo meets weekly at the Presidential Villa.

According to a statement by the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on 8 March, the new working group would incorporate the ongoing efforts of the National Economic Council on power sector reforms and distribution company ownership and ensure all power sector initiatives were on the same page under Osinbajo’s leadership.

Membership of the group comprises El-Rufai, representing the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and NEC.

Every time I hear hear the name Osinbajo especially within the power sector reform committee parliance, I'm certain that Nigerians would have a lot to smile about pretty soonest.

Another achievement loading,all I want is a look into the power reform sector

I'm just happy with this reform that is about to happen. Nigeria will experience a greater turn around.

I believe there'll be significant changes concerning the power sector in the coming months.

Our power sector need serious attention if we are to boost our economic growth and I'm glad these government is doing just that.

Osinbajo is clearly a task executor. Having him as a leader is a thing of pride for Nigerians.

Before the coming of this administration, light was very bad but when this administration came on board light has improved and the admin is still working to make it steady.

Most homes can't afford 24 hour power supply but for the industries,markets, hotels, SMEs and other businesses it would be a milestone of an achievement.

Especially in economic hubs like the SW and SE.
