Chief Uwazurike, the leader of movement for the actualization of the sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB), had released a statement concerning the merging of the group with the Nnamdi Kanu led ¡POB.

The statement, he desolved the movement for the actualization of the sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB), adding that all institutions of massob, its earnings and management has been pledged to the humble leadership of IPOB led by Nnamdi Kanu. He further explained how the movement was started in the early 60s by Ojukwu, and in the early 2000s by him abd now is a bee epoch when the mantle has to fall into a stronger hand - Nnamdi Kanu.

He further said, "NNAMDI Kanu is my son, for whatever reason a father cannot reject or abandon his son."
