Govt Bans Football Viewing Centers. Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has banned football viewing centers from operating in the State.

Akeredolu shared this on Monday while speaking at the weekly media chat at the Government House in Akure.



He expressed his disappointment at how the residents were disregarding lockdown restriction and the increase in COVID-19 cases in Ondo.
The Governor made it clear the state would not relent in efforts to continue enforcing the restriction.

“All Premiership football viewing centers are hereby banned from operations until further notice. All religious organizations are to further ensure stringent implementation of the agreed guidelines for worship.

This one na talk. Make premier league just start first and you'll see how this lockdown will be neglected.

Thing is, people just don't care anymore. You locked down the country for months and yet nothing was done in the health sector. Nothing! So wetin we wan dey for house dey watch? How iya basira dey beat her pikin become he put meat for him food?

Placing a ban on viewing centres when the main leagues haven't even resumed.

I doubt if this rule will stand in any part of Nigeria especially if premier league resume
