I would like to seek opinion of others on what to do about this issue.

It happened some weeks ago when my wife's sister (younger sister) came to me that she just downloaded a movie (The train) that it will be nice for us to watch it.

So she gave me her phone which I connected to my laptop so as to copy and transfer to my flash drive and later to connect to the TV to have a bigger screen view.

She told me the title of the movie which I searched for and I told her I didn't see it.

Immediately she wasn't feeling comfortable and she came and stood behind me as we searched for the movie together.

So I asked where she downloaded the movie from she told me vidmate so I went to download files under vidmate.
When it opened there were a lot of movies there as a looked for the move I saw some porn movies along the files. I had to focused on the movie we were looking for and pretended as if I didn't see anything, I copied the said movie and pasted it on the desktop. After, she quickly removed the USB cord and took her phone.

What baffled me was that I never expected such thing from her, because I knew her to be a good girl and a lover of Christ. I was disappointed and embarrassed, she felt embarrassed too and she wasn't feeling comfortable throughout that night.

She should have at least deleted those porns before handling over her phone to me.

Why do ladies watch porn? What will she gain watching it because I don't think she engages in sex.

I never mentioned it to anyone and we relates as if nothing happened. We even watched the movie together with my wife the following day.

My concern now is hope I have done the right thing? Or I should have advised her that watching porn is not good?

The bible says anyone who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.

Also there is this quote I saw somewhere the world suffers a lot. Not because of the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of good people.

Note: She is an adult, just graduated from the university.

Thanks as I await your response.

There's nothing wrong with an adult watching porn. Porn is for adults.

"She is an adult, just graduated from the university" .
...

I'm glad you acknowledged it yourself she's an adult so mind your business. She's old enough to make her own decisions . You aren't a guidance counselor so now isn't the time to become one!

To Him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is Sin..

She is a young lady under your care.

Talk to her about it and caution her on the effect, Spirtually and Physically!

You may not Neccessarily tell your wife. But Ensure you Caution her.

Your keeping quiet could mean a whole lot

You're a married claimed, it's very essential you learn to mind your business, the problem you have is trusting people and look at it, it failed you! Just let the mature girl be!

It is wrong to have kept quiet . I know you don’t want her to feel bad or embarrassed . You are a good hearted man. The there are two bad effect of your quietness .

1. ENDORSEMENT . You’re like a father figure to her presently . To her your quietness is indirect endorsement that nothing is wrong with it . And by that she will download more . What if it were your daughter .

2. SIN OF OMISSION: we have two kinds of sins Sin of commission and sins of omission . Sins of omission refers to things you ought to do and you failed to do . Now as your brother keeper . If your brother is doing wrong and you keep quiet . That’s a sin .

Acts 20:26-27
Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

Ezekiel 33:8-9.
. . .if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

I am not in any way saying watching porn is a sin. But I know it’s very demonic . Many people have been demonized through porn . It’s destructive .and if you keep quiet over what can destroy a life . It’s not an act of love . That becomes your sin .

My recommendation Is to call her and talk it over .

Hmmm....

From what you said, I just hope there was no ulterior motive...

You said she should have deleted the porn movies before giving to you...I think you have a point there since such could lead to devastating consequences...

I just hope that wasn't deliberate...

However credit to you that regardless you weren't moved.

Whatever her true intentions were, don't judge her...but just have a word with her concerning it.

However I would advise, that you be very careful around her since you're not sure of what her true motives were.

If not for education, this person you're saying watching porn would have been married with children.

Is it because she's in your house eating your food that you feel you have the right to tell an adult what to watch? smh

Take your stupidity away from this thread, you think someone from the university is still a child.

You call your self righteousness, but all your thinking is towards the left.

I'll advice the shameless man to keep quite, the moment he talks with her about sex and his wife finds out, he's already complicating his marriage.

How old is she?
Because if she's 18+ nobody has the right to intervene into her private life!
True Christians (Jehovah's Witnesses) must assist her by directing her to the elders of the Christian congregation, but if she's not a baptized JW nobody has the right to intimidate her.
Even her church pastor dare not talk about it otherwise she'll leave that church for the church that will keep her secrets secret

The same ilk will say allow a child, don't tell children what to do, you're indoctrinating them. Now, it's she's not a child, don't tell her what to do. In short, just say don't tell anybody to do anything godly. You can tell anyone to go to school, follow good hygiene, have fun, party, but never tell them to do righteousness. We get your antichrist point.

Free and open indeed, you skipped the part where he clearly said "she wasn't feeling comfortable and she came and stood behind me as we searched for the movie together". What part of she wasn't feeling comfortable don't you understand?
She likely thought of the amount of data she used for download, that's why she didn't delete her secret sin. But she wasn't very smart. Evangelist is sharing The Train, but masturbating alone.
