It is no longer New that the Peoples Democratic Party Edo chapter conducted ward & Local govt congress today to elect delegates to vote at the party's gubernatorial primaries slated for 19th - 20th this month as they have choose to adopt indirect primaries.

Despite the fact that governor Godwin Obaseki had signed into law a COVID-19 Gazette which bars any gathering of more than 20 persons unless they are to congregate in the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the party still conducted her ward congresses.

will the Obaseki led government purnish the PDP for conducting election across all ward in the state or the COVID19 GAZETTE he signed is just to prevent his Party the All Progressive Congress from conducting DIRECT PRIMARIES which his body language has shown he is scared of.
