Only Arik air has and flies the 737-NG so local patronage is already low.
Power supply issues, maintenance, local instructors etc will be issues that'll keep foreign airlines from patronizing them.

I'm only here for how much was "spent" and how much was really spent.

In Nigeria every government procurement is another avenue to steal huge sums

We are always importing, no plans to start creating ours.

I took my time to read this context twice! And I still couldn’t understand what a simulator is or it’s usefulness
Why is this on front page self?

It represents the controls of an aircraft. The simulator is necessary for airline pilots to maintain and attain currency on boeing 737 type.

Do we even have a national carrier that the FG is acquiring a flight simulator? Or this for NAF?

This is why i ignore bigoted bastards that have cornered the Nigerian political-economy since 1966 and taken almost all federally-enabled projects and institutions to their region, and then would turn around and say nonsense like ‘what does south-east contribute to the economy’ or would want to compare their IGR with that of a state in a region that’s been marginalised, cheated and maltreated since the late 60s!

Zaria and Nsukka were once on a equal footing, but they’ve taken almost all nation-building institutions to Zaria while Nsukka has been left as it was since 1966!

Ohh Educate yourself my man... In flight training we go through hours of training with simulators before we can even be allowed anywhere the airplane... If you are going to be flying a 737, it's definitely compulsory you take a flight simulator course in a 737 simulator same goes for any other type of airplane

Great move by the aviation sector. This will enhance training facilities in aviation schools in the country. Well done to the PMB administration.

This is very good for the aviation industry. We can now train pilots here for commercial flight operations, instead of missing the opportunity to earn the over $30k paid in South Africa or Egypt or USA.... Just for this training exercise
Re: FG Procures Boeing 737-NG Flight Simulator by greatopec: 12:15pm On Jun 11, 2020
My country my country. What a shame! Procuring a simulator for training on a plane Boeing 737NG that had its first flight in 1997(23 years ago). After training Nigeria will now be buying abandoned 737NG planes.
U need to cover your face in shame not broadcasting this to the world!!
