PDP are through with screening of candidates, and Obaseke has purchased APC expressions of interest from, constitutionally is he qualify to decamp to PDP and still contest under the PDP or any other political party apart from the APC. Please Lawyers in the house can do justice to this post

Yes he can decamp to PDP and he can also decamp to Apga so that he can merge both IPOB votes and Edo central together

Whatever political party Ugly Obaseki use to contest, he will loose this upcoming election. He is incompetent, dull and he lack the political will to rule Edo. In the last 4 years, Obaseki has achieved nothing.

Edo people are wiser now.

He definitely can decamp!
Re: Can Obaseke Decamp To PDP? by paramboos: 7:30pm On Jun 11, 2020
Of course he can. l believe he must have purchased his form and being an incumbent, the PDP will gladly give him their ticket. You have not seen the last in Edo election, PDP might even postpone their primaries. This is politic man and PDP is very experienced. The APC we know will still shoot themselves on the leg one way or the other, na their pattern...

Yes he can. But if PDP has screened their aspirants, then it's a waste of time.
Re: Can Obaseke Decamp To PDP? by Nobody: 7:33pm On Jun 11, 2020
The PDP would be foolish to allow him into the party. He had his chances but blew it up.

To be fair, the PDP should present those who stood with them, while Obaseki finish his fight with Oshiomhole.

Before saying he can, I hope you remember Supreme Court judgement on IMO State concerning Uche Nwosu and his AAA party

As long as the winner of the primary write an official letter to INEC of his withdrawal, yes he can still emerge as Pdp candidate

Tambuwal did that

Why are you people so deluded like this?? Is it not better you make findings and update yourself before coming to the public forum to embarrass yourself?? okay, now go and make an enquiry on how Samuel Ortom resigned from PDP the same day he lost primary to the anointed candidate of Gabriel Susuam and decamped to APC the same night, obtained nomination form the same night and contested in the primary scheduled for the next day and went ahead and carried APC flag and eventually defeated the PDP candidate in the main election. The only problem Uche Nwosu had was that He didn't resign from APC properly by copying INEC and other necessary bodies before he Jumped ship for AA. Please always get your facts right before coming to the public forum next time.

He decamp and use the substitution provision to become PDP candidate. Very possible. I see him going to PDP in days to come.

Rmbr Bayelsa deputy Governor just visited Phillips Shauaibu. And Gov Finitri recently made comment about Edo being PDP state
