Using of federal forces is not a new thing I'm nigeria after all wike used to get to power,it was used against same magnus..no matter the amount of federal support,if you are not popular it won't work.why did uchendu not win in amechi zone? All exgovernors in APC are always looking for ways to be political godfathers in their states after leaving office. Ameachi, Oshiomole, Tinubu, and many more. If you know any you can add by yourself. APC is just one party in Nigeria. Becoming APC presidential candidate doesn't mean he will win the votes of Nigerians in the general elections. Infact the biggest mistake APC would make that would give PDP an easy ride at the general election is to field Tinubu as candidate. All PDP would need to do is to field a popular northern candidate who would largely win the votes of the north (most northerners who are politically suave would never vote a yoruba against their kinsman, coupled with the fact that they would prefer power to remain within the north). Of course, the south east and south south would naturally give their votes to PDP. The game would be PDP's to lose if Tinubu is fielded, trust me.

If you say Wike has not played a part in Amaechi travails, then I have to give up on our discussion. No relevant case instituted in Rivers by Amaechis faction has ever been won in any court in Rivers State. Wike controls Rivers judiciary and have used them to ensure APC remains in quagmire.

Wike, is the utmost beneficiary of all the grumblings and infighting in Rivers APC. If APC were united, Wike would have been history since May 29 2019. Wike saw an opportunity and capitalized on it. He is not the origin of Rivers APC crisis but, he sided Abe as every normal politician would and is reaping the most.

Ask yourself what Wike stands to lose if Amaechis faction gains control of Rivers APC, as against Abe's faction.
