Yes, suicide is a sin. The Bible commands: "Thou shall not kill" (see Exodus 20:13). This command does not refer only to someone else but also to you. To commit suicide is to disobey the above commandment of God. God gave you your life. To take your life is to take God's life in you. Judas did it and went to hell (see Acts 1:25).
