Many people opt into engineering,law,pharmacy,medicine,nursing as well as many so called professional courses because it secures your future and puts food on the table. Physics can be damn profitable if you go into research and development which is quite difficult here in Nigeria but it is. How do you stand out
Learn more of programming,IT development,autocad as well as many others. Dem no born dem make dem no give you job even with 2:2. I am not saying you should settle for 2:2. If your dream us to work in the petroleum field, this skills listed above will bd indispensable. I have a church member who studied physics but works with NNPC because of computer skills he got,imagine the money is rolling on now even his mates in engineering can't easily match up with him even those with computer science. You as the individual make that difference not your school nor nigeria will hinder you. Everything is not about lecturing except you have a flair for it. Bonne chance
