How easy can some one finds a job in Nigeria with a degree in Food Science and Technology?

It best advice that one aquire catering and management skills as a supplement to the study and for a better c.v, this course is full of theory and mathematics...in the real world to be outstanding you must inteligent beyond book

The problem for me is that FST, Biochemistry, Microbiology, chemistry and other biological science graduates are way too much to be absorbed by the food production industry.

So expect a tough time securing a "good" job but having good grades (2:1 or a 1st) could go a long way in increasing your chances.

All in all, study well and know your onions, you are gonna see numerous opportunities when the time comes.(Food industry is a very big one)

I hate the way student are being bugged with unnecessary courses and the 5 years of studies with less practical, many of em live inside book and passing school exeminations

Well those unnecessary courses have been deemed relevant by NUC so you just have to study hard and get a pass grade on them.

I love maths, kinda mathematically inclined.
Hence my reason for majoring in engineering.
