Collinsemegreat: University of Ibadan was ESTABLISHED in 1962. what you are seeing was UNIVERSITY COLLEGE IBADAN, an affiliate of UNIVERSITY OF LONDON UI in effect was the first degree awarding institution, NOT the first University in Nigeria. It had no VC or Senate, what it had was a college principal. Please Google it o 1 Like 1 Share |

RemoveKebab: He wouldn't dare, because UI was not established by him nor the western region. Infact, the first VC of UI was a professor Kenneth Dike, an igbo man 1 Like 1 Share |
