First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.- Martin Niemöller

The above quotation fits Nigeria scenarios like this;
First they came for Plateau State and I did not speak out—
Because I was not from Plateau.
Then they came for Southern Kaduna, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not from Southern Kaduna.
Then they came for Benue State, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not from Benue State.
Then they came for Osun State, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not from Osun State.
Then they came for Enugu State, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not from Enugu State.
Then they came for Edo State, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not from Edo State.
Then they came for the farmers, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a farmer.
Then also they came for the travelers, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a road traveler.
Then they finally came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.- sad tales of Nigerians

Activities of criminal fulani herdsmen has been felt in almost all the states of Nigeria. They have rendered many fatherless, motherless, childless, orphan, homeless, maimed many while taking over their lands.

The only solution by the Buhari's government is RUGA. Since Nigerians have rejected it, then they allowed the herdsmen to feast on them while making sure the army and police are kept on silent mode. This government has compromised.

Our leaders at the state and regional levels seems to be intimated and hounded from opposing the Buhari stance on this issue. The governors, senate and house of reps members has been caged and bought over.

The only solution now seems to be with the populace and their unity. There is strength in unity. This bad government will feast on our disunity. Their gain is in our disunity.

We should all come together to fight this especially at the state level or geo political level. If you stand aside and watch your neighbour killed today without lifting a finger in his defence, tomorrow you will be the next victims.

We are all guilty of this. If this is allowed to continue. It is only a matter of time before these killers finally overwhelm us. Since they have initially succeeded in separating and scattering us. So much that no one can protest nor oppose them without being threatened by his brother with federal backing.

A brief look into history. Last year, When Benue state was burying it's victims only two south west governors were present, at least to show solidarity. None from south East or South South. while Borno and plateau state governors mocked them. MACBAN was still threatening fire on them even in their mourning mood. Buhari government was still lambasting Benue for making the burial open to the public and media. This is wickedness. Till date none of the killers has been appended by Buhari.

When it was Nimbo, not even one south eastern governor was present to commiserate with Enugu. Infact the South East state governments are a big disappointment. They seem to have left the fight for IPOB but sadly IPOB are not in power to command any due respect.

Amotekun was formed by the South west governors, but this Buhari government fought to make sure nothing meaningful comes out it. Even using MURIC and some other fictitious groups to discredit them. Amotekun is now dead even before it was allowed to live.

If not that we are so disunited and disillusioned, what should stop the governors of South East, South South, Benue and any other victimized states from supporting Amotekun and also replicating same agency for their state in solidarity?

Actually, it may be that we are finally doomed to be conquered by these murderers. so, It's just a matter of when and who is next?

Katsina populace has been protesting for days now, but other states are just being silent and unconcerned. This is the kind of aloofness and disunity Buhari expects from us till his RUGA sails through.

Katsina seem to have broken through the intimidation of Buhari's government to at least start a protest.
No region nor tribe can go it alone. Let us Unite. This government will be forced to listen and act. We know most of the individuals serving with Buhari are against his hypocritical RUGA and bad governance but they are too timid to tell him.

Using this great forum, Nairaland, I hereby call on everyone to "Let Us Unite To Stop These Murderers". Let us keep aside our tribal and political affiliations.

You will only live to see 2023 if you survive 2020, 2021 and 2022.
