Its a scam.
I applied, paid and installed one a month ago for my apartment. I am trying to apply and pay now for my dad now, the increment is annoying. My father has the old analogue meter. Before now, he has been paying less than 2500 for his monthly consumption of 100units to 200units When the marketer changed for his area, the lady reads what's on his meter and gives him whatever she feels like.
Like seriously, a steady N2500 consumption range jumped to 8K when the new marketer came. I asked him to changed to change to the new digital one we just installed: Conlog.
We just got 100units for N2300.
That's how I knew about the increment.
This Country Self!

Always talking about financial sustainability but never about power sustainability. Paying for darkness is a thing in Nigeria. The other day they said nations who we supply 24hrs power to are owing them but there was no outrage from Nigerians how we can be supplying power to other nations while our government has continued to deliberately keep us in darkness while paying more and more for a commodity we barely see in a 24 hr window.
What a country.
