Proposed 500-Man Abraka Protest Called Off As Police Returns Extorted One Million Naira To Victim (Video)

The proposed five hundred man peaceful protest scheduled to hold in Abraka over external police invasion and extortion of Delta Central youths has been called off after the state police command helped to fast track the release of one million naira to a victim of the extortion by men of the Special Tactical Squad.

Represented by the mother, the one million naira was handed over to the victim by Comrade Umukoro Efemena, President of the Youth Wing of the Urhobo Progress Union who doubles as a member of the Delta State’s Community Policing Committee.
