The Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, South Africa part, Dr Taiye Abe, is dead.

He was aged 65.

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), in an announcement on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said he got the updates on Abe’s passing with trouble.

Buhari felt for the family, companions, and partners of the deceased, and asked them to cheer up, asking that God will comfort them during this season of distress.

He reviewed numerous gatherings with the deceased on visits to South Africa and commented that he was a man with an undeniable love for Nigeria, and a profound responsibility to the goals of the APC.
