Marleek: You mentioned the bold as if it's 2 naira forgetting the precarious financial state Nigeria is in and the woeful governance structure. Some things are just impossible in Nigeria. 5 Likes 1 Share |

NazoTimes:God bless you bro! you are one of the few that understand the root of the problem. Flood will keep occurring every year unless knowledgeable people in the govt take steps in stopping it. 2 Likes |

benratigan3: Singapore did same and even Hong Kong whose airport is on reclaimed land. But you cannot compare both places' governance systems to Nigeria. It's like you people don't know the country you are in. 2 Likes |

Marleek: I can almost bet you that there's no one single city in the US that will not experience some kind of flooding on some roads with the kind of rain that has been falling for about 24 hrs. It might not be as bad as Lagos, but a vast majority of them will still have some roads flooded. |

Tonymegabush1: Why should a sane government build a drainage and leave it open?? Is that how it's done in Other big cities around the world?? You can't keep blaming the people all the time, The government are lazy, they don't want to work!! Have you ever seen open gutters in New York, London and other big cities around the world?? It's only in Nigeria government will build a road then build a open gutters and expect it not to be littered Blame the government for their Incapabilities for once!! 5 Likes |

NazoTimes: These words cannot be said enough. Nigeria is a very backward and dirty country. Some countries with in the tropics which had malaria problems have been able to eradicate the mosquito plague partly by doing away with open drainage. 2 Likes |

ikpuchinonye1994: When the time comes., we shall separate the son from the strangers amidst us....keep developing the State for the owners... You too can as well select a State out of your region and develop it to attract foreign investors all over the world so that you and your people wouldn't have to come to lagos and be selling gala and soft drinks on the third mainland bridge.
