Former Governor, Abiola Ajimobi Is Dead, Soyombo Insists by aljazirahnews: 7:32am On Jun 19, 2020 |
Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State, has died due to underlying health conditions worsened by the Coronavirus, Fisayo Soyombo says. Soyombo is an undercover investigative journalist with several national and international awards to show for his diligence and hard work in the field of journalism. Soyombo says, "my source insists the former Governor is gone even though he still hasn’t been disconnected from life support. "I understand that other than placing him on life support, First Cardiology Consultants is “currently not doing anything else” on him. "By the way, many of those tweeting ‘Ajimobi is alive’ have not seen or spoken to him since yesterday. His supporters and aides at the hospital do not even have access to him. "The media aide who issued a rebuttal did it only after making phone calls; he himself has no firsthand information." Global TimesNG recalls that Ajimobi, the newly appointed acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress, has been receiving treatment for suspected COVID-19 ailment in a Lagos hospital for close to two weeks. What's the meaning of all this rubbish, could the cover up be as a result of apc court cases. If the man is gone, let his family mourn him in peace, they should stop playing politics with his name. 2 Likes |

What I know for sure is that fisayo soyombo can't carry/spread fake news, the guy is always 100% on point on his infos and he's no longer a baby journalist that he won't know the implications of this on his career and life 1 Like |

Time shall tell But I wonder why APC would appoint a man in coma as acting Chairman. Fisayo is a respected journalist, if his source of Six years fails him this time he will surely tell on his career. |

And what exactly is the problem with this Fisayo guy? Is it his death? His family says he's not dead. Why is he crying more than the bereaved literally? |

you claim he is on life support and you are also pronouncing him dead, does that even make any sense? Oshiomhole knows fully well that his Appeal Court Judgment was around the corner, in fact his lawyers already told him the date, and as a calculative man, he already screened Obaseki out, conducted the screening out appeal, and lined out his succession plan, Obaseki and his Ipob supporters are stil chasing shadows when they only have less than 10 days to secure PDP ticket . |

If this news have came out through Nnamdi KANU some persons by now will be calling him names. By the way, what is the meaning of all these spate of covering the death of politicians in Nigeria of today? |
