@OP , does the opinion of a pastor matter as far as the actualization of God's commandment? Should it matter what a man says when Jesus Christ commanded it? Jesus Christ said, " be ye perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect". As far as all followers of Christ ought to be concerned, so long as Jesus commanded it, there ought to be no debate about the possibility of it. Dimensions of perfection? How many dimensions can there be to the command to love your neighbor(your enemies included) as you love yourself?  |
