According to recent figure on the current status of HIV, over 43 million Africans
have become infected with HIV since the epidemic began in the early 1980's.At present over 23
millions Africans are living with HIV, meaning a two third of the global cases.
According to the recent figure from NACA (Nigeria) 1 in 18 Nigerians is infected by the virus,in Botswana and
Zimbabwe,one in four adult is infected.The question now is,was HIV targeted toward Africa?
There have been speculations by western world scientist that HIV originated from Simian monkey
in Africa precisely Cameroon for HIV 1 and Congo for HIV 2. Spreading to human by way of monkey bite,
ingestion of monkey brain and meat. How true?, that during butchering of Simian monkeys or chimpanzees
a man mistakenly got an open wound and get infected with simian immunodeficiency virus,which then mutate to human
immunodeficiency virus and it starts spreading through sexual intercourse and  blood contact.
During slave trade,Europeans,Asian,Arabs,Americans and people who came to the coast of Africa interacted and
lived with them, pick up the virus spreading it to other part of the world. How true? lately during a
scientific conference,papers were presented by world leading scientists that the origin of HIV
could have been from an unsafe Hepatitis B virus vaccines that was circulated in Africa and other part of USA
and blah blah blah blah. A lot have been said about HIV  and its origin most times not favoring the black world.As a
Medical Laboratory Scientist,I was discussing with one of my boss lately and he said he is quite sure that HIV is genetically
engineered to infect man, a prototype of the swine flu.Mainly to eradicate the black world?HOW true?. What do think?.
