Anambra has getting it right since the time of Peter Obi. Obiano and now Soludo.

Abia has remained the worst state in Nigeria with umuahia and aba remaining slums.

Now that Peter Obi has rescued abia state by giving them Alex Otti, let's see if Abia will experience good governance for once since 1999.

Abia has suffered so much as a state

No one needs your validation. Abia your state is the worst and most backward state in Nigeria. You should be worried instead moving from thread to thread. You should be concerned about the terrible condition of abia state. Now that Peter Obi has given you aba pigs, Alex Otti, hope that you pigs support him

NwekereNdoki:

I like that Soludo is focusing on roads, when that is properly tackled and all the major roads in Anambra being in good shape, Anambra has what it takes to be a metropolis in SE

One thing I notice about Abia state with all this pictures is that Abia don’t have good building, the buildings is very old
Re: Abia State Development Thread- PICTURES by Owerriboi: 9:39pm On Apr 09, 2023
Dirty Aba pig. There's no university in your cursed backward shithole abia state thar comes close to this in aesthetics but somehow because of your envy and bitterness, you found something to complain about this audacious project. As for roads, in your shitty abia state, you don't have neither good single or dual carriage roads, but you will always manage to betray your bitterness and envy just to take away from this well paved roads. Almost all the roads in abia state are dilapidated and shitty but you haven't seen that to complain about. Anumanu

NwekereNdoki:

NiceWhat I will really like Anambra investors and businessmen to improve on is their aethestics and building design.
Then also the government needs to do away with single carriage road and roads with open drainageAnambra has past that level
Re: Abia State Development Thread- PICTURES by Owerriboi: 9:41pm On Apr 09, 2023
Your opinion is useless and worthless. Anambra is not your shitty backward useless abia state that doesn't know what good governance is about

NwekereNdoki:

Wow.his project is progressing smoothly. am impressedI think Anambra Govt led by Soludo needs to invest in media after 3 years (by then many of his roads might have been completed)
Re: Abia State Development Thread- PICTURES by PROUDIGBO(m): 2:26am On Apr 10, 2023
I'm impressed with what Ikpeazu managed to do in Aba! I know there's still room for improvement, but he made some effort to try and improve Aba from how he met it. If the two useless Orjis' had put in same effort into upgrading the city, by now it would be one of the best looking cities in Nigeria! The state gov't should just try to maintain the road: regular sweeping and clearing of gutters; road markings; and greenery!

The next governor of Abia state .personally not my preferred candidate (Gregory Ibe) but he has been saying the right things and great expectation rests on him now to deliver.

Hopefully this thread grows on like others from the SE.

He is a man who takes propaganda very seriously unlike the present governor . Knowing that,I believe his media team will help grow this thread and in the light of that ,some suggestions on ways forward for Aba municipal area

I have a positive feeling about him which i never had for Ikpeazu or Ugwuanyi. Though as concernes Aba, Ikpeazu managed to pull his socks up and get serious in the final years of his admins' tenure! I'm really impressed with how Aba has turned out, though there's still a lot to be done....both in Aba and Umuahia!

Previously wasn't impressed with Peter Mbah of Enugu as well, but softened my sentiments towards him after watching his interview on AriseTV about a week or so ago! He gave a good talk and said all the right things....just hope both him and Otti can materialise their vision for their states as envisaged!

The whole of Abia State is a dumpsites of dilapidated infrastructures, umuahia is a rural while aba is a cesspit of dilapidated roads and filthy environment, but somehow you managed to skip all that and then put all your focus on a progressive Anambra.

Abia has remained the worst and most backward state in Nigeria but it doesn't bother you one bit.

Abia owing civil servants months of unpaid salaries but you are never worried, all you do on a daily is jumping from thread to thread pretending as if all is well with your backward useless worthless shithole abia state.

Just recently, Anambra guy Peter Obi gave abia state Alex Otti after many decades of thieves looting and unde developing the state but you are worried about a progressive Anambra that has had good leadership back to back since 2006. I must confess that abia people are cursed just like their state.

NwekereNdoki:
What the Anambra State government is shy to do, Delta State has done in Asaba. If Anambra doesn't sit up, it will lose a large chunk of its middle and high-class population to Asaba. As I've always said, governance is not for the poor alone, but for the rich and middle-class!

Today, abia is the last in igboland, even ebonyi of yesterday has overtaken it and even have an airport now, but abia don't even have good roads not to talk of having airport.

To whom much is given, much is expected. Otti has wanted to be Governor for a long time. Now is there, lets hope he doesn't disappoint

However, never put hope on any Nigerian politician, 95% of them are thieves

I don't know if I should advocate for this kind of project in abia state when we consider that abia state government cannot even maintain the existing infrastructures, abia cannot even pay civil servants monthly salaries, etc. Abia state is cursed

I started getting cynical about south-east governors few years into the Okorocha admin when i realised he wasn’t gonna deliver on his promises after all hype! His ‘Ikwuola nku’ initiative for instance…..where is it today!? Dead as a Dodo! I’m particularly passionate about palm oil production as, barrel-for-barrel, it’s even more valuable than oyel! There’s also a lot to be derived from the entire palm oil value-chain…including palm kernel cake! Nothing goes to waste in palm oil production! You know palm oil is an active ingredient in a lot of edible and skin-care products? Imagine then the billions of dollars states like Imo and Abia could have been making had they revived and built on those massive palm plantations Dr M I Okpara created in the 60s!

My optimism and expectations for governance were heightened again when Soludo became governor, but have since been brought back down to realistic levels. The remaining faith i still have in the likes of Soludo, Otti and Mbah is now based on their antecedents in previous public and private endeavours and their intelligence! So it’s not really blind faith as was previously the case with Okorocha.
