Nigerian High Commission Demolition: Police Arrives Late, Affected Nigerians Lament (Video)

According to TMS Media reports, some armed men invaded the Nigerian high commission in Accra, Ghana, on Friday, destroying some apartments which were being constructed to house staff and visitors.

A Ghanaian businessman had claimed that the commission encroached on his land. He presented evidence that he is the real owner of the land, when he visited the place last week. He subsequently returned to the site on Friday in the company of armed men who supervised the demolition.

Officials of the commission were said to have contacted the police but the demolition still went on.

Nigeria needs to make a really big statement in the African continent to be accorded any respect again...the negative impression about the country has gone viral. The police late arrival shouldn't surprise us, cos most countries security network are sympathetic to their citizens except a foreign citizen is from a super power nation. For the Nigerians who are even crying, my question is, does the Nigerian police even arrive a crisis scene on time?
