This party cross carpeting for him right now is not healthy. He is going to cause dis-stabilisation in the new party and the outcome may not favour him It is going get ugly and dangerous. He may not win that primary election tomorrow. Mark my words. With he said that he automatically become the leader of the PDP in Edo state, he just bought for himself a fresh mouth trouble. He should of wait till after the primary election before he say that. Another thing is that, the other contestants already have close relationship with the delegates. Coming into the party in just some few days won't make some of the delegates change their mind even if they are offered bountiful sum of egunje. Whatever it is, we will wait here on NL to read all the good news and comment. 1 Like |

And non of this three is popular enough to stand against Pastor Ize Iyamu
Why won't they just allow their selfish interest not ruin your party's chance of taking over Edo State? Who is Pastor? Highlight his Achievement here for the world to read. |

seunmsg: Why should they step down for him? Obaseki has two heads or what? Obaseki want to be governor and they want to be governor. They should all contest in a free and fair primary election and the winner should be the party’s candidate. Telling others to step down is undemocratic.
If we are going to progress as a nation and improve our democratic processes, we need to start strengthening the internal democracy of our political parties. Political parties cannot throw up the best candidates if we keep manipulating the system to favour vested interests. General election is merely to fulfill all righteousness since the political elites already rigged the party primary against popular candidates. why not keep quiet on technical issues you don't have indebt knowledge of......stepping down has always been there in politics, last week a White US lady stepped down for a black US lady in Joe Bidden deputy scouting in the Democrat party.. I say keep quiet for your ignorance |

If Obaseki should be the candidate of PDP in September election, they should be prepared to face APC in court on the certificate issue that was used against him in APC screening. I will only advise him to just use his WAEC certificate to avoid embarrassment for him and his party since with School Certificate, he is qualified to contest. |
