Our client in the IT/ E-commerce industry is looking to fill the below vacancy

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos
Job type: Full time.

Job Description
o Provide financial advice on acquiring funding(s).
o Manage financial systems and budgets.
o Undertake financial audits (an independent check of an organization's financial position).
o Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
o Actively engage in debt recovery through phone calls, mails, visiting customers and every other means possible.
o Producing monthly financial and management reports.
o Ensure that the financial policies /procedures of the company are implemented Efficiently and in line with generally accepted accounting practices (e.g. FIRS)
o Institute adequate financial control systems and processes to secure the assets and Efficient operation of the organization
o Detect and prevent fraud (forensic accounting).
o Develop key financial processes including budgeting, management & financial accounting/reporting
o Monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting and variation reporting
o Maintain accounting records.
o Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts
o Monitor all account payable checks, prepare invoices and updates on all accounts.
o Perform research, reconcile all bank accounts and resolves all issues in processes.
o Prepare and document all taxes and its filing.
o Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
o BSc/HND in Accounting or related studies
o 2-4 years relevant working experience
o Preferably a chartered accountant
o Proficient in acquiring funding, financial proposal, process and management of it to help the organization.
o Having strong skills in Maths, Computer, Communication and Data analysis.
o Proficient in preparation of reports and compliance document required by law, regulations or company policies
o Able to maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
o Confidential, Reliable & Detail-oriented
