Governor Obaseki may never contest the coming gubernatorial election under PDP for the following reasons.

The PDP NWC flouted INEC's timetable by selling form to him 18days after expiration of the duration for form collection.

And Wike doesn't seem to want him again. He was careless when he went to PDP Secretariat in Benin and declared himself the leader of the Party in the State

And by saying some APC Governors are still supporting him, which made PDP Stakeholders in the State to believe he will decamp back to APC if he wins.

Then, all his meetings with the PDP NWC has no member of the State PDP exco and Stakeholders being part of negotiations and agreement.

State PDP wants him to drop his Deputy for one of them but Abuja PDP said he should not worry.

Thus Obaseki may not return as Edo State PDP Guber Aspirant.
