MTN has disclosed that it will host the virtual launch of its 5G commercial network in South Africa on June 30 according to CEO Godfrey Motsa who will be present with other officials.

MTN will join Rain and Vodacom Group in the race to introduce 5G technology in the country.

Rain launched the country’s first commercial 5G network in partnership with China’s Huawei Technologies in 2019.

Meanwhile, Vodacom launched its 5G network in May in three cities-Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town, with further launches planned in other parts of South Africa...

That is the fact bro. MTN Nigeria 4g is limited compared to Airtel and Glo that covered many towns and cities. No wonder Airtel boast of been the largest network with 4g coverage.

you may be right about Airtel but not glo
In my opinion Airtel is the fastest I've gotten over 8 but less than 9mb/sec on airtel,the highest I've seen when not on wifi
Then mtn ,9mobile and glo(still the slowest even at night,I remembered last year when I was using a phone not supporting there 4g.Around 2 am I was still struggling for network coverage,I had a lot of bonus but I couldn't use much because it was extremely slow)

In SA the 5g will be grt, when it comes to 9ja, another story, their 4g is not stable, is it the 5g that will be stable

Airtel 4g is the fastest after Airtel na glo in Asaba and Delta at large, but in Asaba, mtn 4g na disaster, their 3g is 3 times better and faster
