ambode was ambushed. they sang his praises till 11th hour. he thought BAT was everything, he did not bother to build his own structure within the party. for obaseki, keep knew from the inception that oshiomole would not want him for second term so he started forming his political movement.

There was no way Ambode would have won if he had defected. Tinubu has a massive control over lagos. He took the best decision by leaving peacefully.

tinubu tried it with Fashola but it did not work because Fashola had empowered his men in the party. ambode did nothing. he was ambushed at injury time. it would be suicidal for him to defect without any structure.
