I know its a failed case from start.

In as far Obaseki attended UI and graduated, did his NYSC and just a letter missed in his name on the said certificate then its no case.

All he need to do is to go to court swear affidavit correct the name put it on Newspaper. End of bllabla. No law prohibit anyone challenging and correcting name error in certificate.

This is not a victory at all. The case was not heard so he has not been cleared of forgery...

the suit was struck out for want of diligent prosecution. it doesn't mean that Obaseki has won yet.

if the plaintiffs file an application to relist the suit, it will be heard on the merits and the decision can favour either of the parties.

Ambode would mostly have been impeached if he had dumped APC coz he didn't have the numbers in the state house of assembly to stop such. If he is impeached the law won't recognize him as a former governor and as such he won't be entitled to anything after leaving office.
