Court Jails Six Yahoo Boys.... The Ibadan Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, on Monday, June 29, 2020, secured the convictions of six internet fraudsters. Five of the convict's Josiah Olafuyi, Abdul-Salam Abubakar, Blessing Opeyemi Omoyajowo, Bolaji John Alegbe and Olawale Ayorinde Abdulaliyu, were tried by justice Patricia Ajoku of the Federal High Court Ibadan for fraudulent impersonation. Abdulaliyu was sentenced to three months imprisonment; Olafuyi got six months each, while Omoyajowo seven months jail term. The sixth convict, Aremu Oluwatosin Akindele, was tried by Justice Mohammed Abubakar of Federal High Court,. I pray Nigeria would become great someday so all this would stop.. if our so called past leaders had not failed us , Nigeria would be richer than Saudi Arabia and almost all families would be financially okay, so no parent would allow his child engage in fraud.. shey papa wey nvr see salary collect and he has 5 children , his wife dey sell roasted corn for road side..them no get money to even send children to higher institution, firstborn engage in internet fraud out of poverty , see money send him siblings to school on feed his family, do you think such father would be able to compel his son to stop fraud.. am not in support of them or justifying what they have done to be a good thing but most people na hunger and poverty lead them to fraud and no one is to be blamed but out myopic past and present leaders.. they only care about themselves and families.. remember someday we would all account for what we have done on the day of yaomal kiyamat

No am not , if you read my comment well ,all am saying is that we have a bad govt and the more the country keeps electing bad leaders the more the corruption in the country.. if Nigeria was a better country youths won't see fraud as a means to survive no.. but they country is. Ad and they see some adults engage in fraud and succeed, they would also engage in it..
