Nigeria no suppose dae talk when a lot of African countries are talking we are too backward development wise.

Its just because Africa as a whole is a shithole that's why we see these pictures as something good.

Delta state should be ashamed of itself if u are 3rd richest in Nigeria and u are showing us this embrassment as your biggest city

I'm just tired of the country, let's just hope for a better tomorrow.

Lol

Other great countries we run to had their masses fight, they fought really hard to handle their greedy leaders and today they are better.

But us here, person go call for protest, we go fear. Our religious leaders are keeping quiet.

Nigerians are champions in COMPLAINING. Rather than learn to criticize constructively, it is lamenting all day.

Embarrassing??

What is more embarrassing than being a Nigerian?

Don't you think being silent is the major reason why this "Shit" is still continuing.
If nobody is talking about the under development in Nigeria then the so called leaders will have no reason (pressure) in developing it.
Remember person wey dey cry suppose see road
and I never said Warri isn't a SHIT HOLE

Best line ever

Warri is located in the southern part of Delta State.

The State since 1999 has been govern by governors from the PDP political party starting from;

ex governor Chief James Ibori 1999 - 2007
ex governor Emmanuel Uduaghan 2007 - 2015
and incumbent
governor Ifeanyi Okowa. 2015 - NOW (2020)

Delta State is the third richest state in Nigeria after Lagos and Rivers State in terms of GDP yet I'm afraid there ain't much to show for it.
Warri like every other city in Nigeria has it's most beautiful and ugly sides (Lagos inclusive) so please no unwarranted noise or fuss about it.

Disclaimer :
The pictures below is just a FRACTION of the city (Warri) randomly taken (over some time now) therefore it doesn't depict or represent the "WHOLE" city.

The pictures I will display here ain't the most Amazing or Awful part of the city (yes, that's right I will display the awful side too), there are other sections like Refinery road, Okumagba Estate, Airport road, Jakpa, Ekete inland, DSC, GRA and more that could be more dignifying or awful than these.

Simply is a RANDOM pictures of Warri and a little touch of Abraka my home town.

ALSO

I am in noway (deliberately or not) endorsing the ex or incumbent governor of the State for as I stated earlier Warri should be far BETTER than this.

Pictures were taken with infinix Note 4 (and other digital camera device) while others were sources from the Net (online).

In case of grammatical errors or omissions Please wisely inform me for correction.

ENJOY

Beautiful sight

These area view pictures are telling lies.

Drive round warri and you will be shocked.
Very dirty and i mean very dirty. A city where waste are dropped in the middle of the road, No functional street lights, blocked drainage that is if you even see one. Very bad roads also.

All road rehabilitation don't last more than 6 months, if they manage to execute a project it would be a substandard project. All they do is share the resources of the state. The matter tire person.

Swears... Akwa Ibom is very overrated. I haven't been to Lagos and I don't know if it's my eyes though but almost all Nigerian cities that are being hyped by Nigerians seem very overrated to me.

Now let the games begin. You remember the university area view contest. I remember that contest died a natural death immediately the university of Ghana was uploaded grin grin. Let's go, it on a state by state level now....

What was so great about this Ghana University wey man no go hear word about? I did not see it but i'm willing to bet it was crap and no better than many Nigeria universities. As for Nigerians keeping shtum, when someone compares the rubbish they have to something Nigeria has, is nothing new. It seems to be the result of some sort of psychological damage Nigerians have developed recently in which no matter how rubbish another nationality’s stuff is, Nigerians appear to automatically think that thire own Nigerian one is inferior to it.

I’ve watched open mouthed, shaking my head in disbelief as Nigerians have capitulated to Africans from elsewhere telling Nigerians that Nigerians marble floors are inferior to their laminate floors. undecided

I so much love the city. My first visit to warri was in october 2018 for a contract job at refinery-ughonton road. I never knew that city had been producing all incubent governors since 1999.
