Buhari's Atrocities Seems To Have Been Forgotten? by MaJBlige(f): 11:13pm On Jan 31, 2011
This man's atrocities seems to have been forgotten, both as PTF chairman and as Head of state of Nigeria.

Some of these kids shouting for him were still in their pants when he ruled Nigeria, hence they forgot the despondency. Buhari left power 1985 - 26 years ago, which time so many of his supporters here were not born. LOL.

We want to remind them here on this thread.

So many draconian laws were promulgated during his reign.

1. Death to drug pushers decree

2. The man stifled free speech during his two year reign

3. The man na full tribalist

4. The man almost introduced sharia nationwide.

5. As the head of PTF- he washed as Abacha plundered the nation. The man no fiti say nothing.

6. He is like Atiku  - from one party to another- from ANPP to CPC and to Mega Party?

More by people who know.

Someone introduces death penalty to stop people from pushing drugs, and a Nairalander in her rational way of thinking, believes this should be branded an atrocity.

If this are all the atrocities then he is an Islamic saint.  grin

Ermm how much did he steal/loot from Nigeria? Lets get those figures. Looting and corruption is the most atrocious act in this country. It deprives our kids a better education, healthcare and security
Re: Buhari's Atrocities Seems To Have Been Forgotten? by Ibime(m): 12:04am On Feb 01, 2011
Some people specialise in writing rubbish. At which point did Buhari propose Sharia during his tenure as President?

During Buhari's tenure, he refused to devalue the Naira as demanded by the World Bank, refused to go to them for funds (which IBB did and reduced us to penury). At that time, we imported goods at the old exchange rate but as soon as the Naira was devalued, inflation hit crazy levels and our suffering started.

As for death to drug dealers and corrupt politicians, that's exactly what Nigeria needs.

In 1985, some Nigerians (especially journalists) decided that the fight against indiscipline and corruption was too austere for them to handle. They made a decision which was followed through by IBB. The rest is history. Nigerians CHOSE corruption. We have reaped the suffering ever since. Even when IBB came into power, he first tried to pass an anti-corruption bill, which was rejected by the National Assembly. They wanted to first eat some easy money. Again, Nigerians have chosen corruption at every stage of their existence.

Few months ago, we were faced with a man (Sanusi) making a stand against wanton corruption in the banking sector. Again, Nigerians would not let him rest, throwing all sorts of bombs in his path, in the media, whilst the feckless masses supported their inane arguments, even here on NL.
And today, they are faced with the same dilenma - a stark choice between the corruption of GEJ and his leprous PDP cohorts, or the austere anti-corruption of Buhari, and the new generation, like their predecessors prefer corruption.

Satan is not ESU

Seriously, jokes apart, Satan is different from Esu

Do some research and you'd realize the truth.

Pls mobilise ur group to stop this buhari/bakare ticket. This is muslim muslim ticket in disguise. Bakare is from a pure muslim family and i dn't see any way he (bakare) will represent a pure xtian view in the cabinet vocally as the muslim instinct is in him
