Hello concern Nigerians, this are the kind of people that are called to Bar to defend and fight for people,s right and justice but today the story was different where by a Barrister called ONUWA EZENTA with his three (3) friends FROM IMAMA MGBOWO AWGU L.G.A OF ENUGU STATE, beat up and humiliate a married woman together with someone who came to her rescue, just because she couldn't drive back for them to pass because she was still a learner. Right now the woman is in the hospital bleeding through the nose, ear and unconscious while the young man who came to rescue her was battered and nearly killed with a deep cut through his nose. you can imagine four grown men beating a helpless woman and telling her that he is a barrister and he has license to kill without anybody questioning him. am calling on the #NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION #(NBA), HUMAN RIGHT, #NIGERIAN POLICE (NP), #ENUGU STATE POLICE COMMAND, AND THE ADEQUATE AUTHORITIES to take up this matter and give justice to it. The Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) of the NBA is the best channel to direct your complaint (provided you are sure of your information) whenever a lawyer misbehaves.

Put your complaint in writing and send it to:

attention: Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee – NBA House,

Off Muhammadu Buhari way,
Garki Area II, Abuja F.C.T.

It is advised that your letter clearly state the following:

- concisely explain the matter
- involvement of the lawyer
- all necessary evidence to proof your allegation
- your contact details necessary (they might need to contact you for other further information/investigation).

If the lawyer is adjudged wrong, necessary sanctions will be meted out to the lawyer by the committee and NBA accordingly.

Meanwhile, your 'story' is more of a police case - threat to life, assault.
