The senior pastor of Christ Embassy, Reverend Chris Oyakhilome has once again protested against the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the federal government for religious gatherings.

According to the clergyman while giving a live sermon on Wednesday, July 1, he said the recent challenges that churches face regarding the guidelines qualifies as persecution.

Is it only churches that are closed down or all religious centres? Haven't some states lifted their ban? Sometimes, it is better one keeps quiet than talking.

The church is ordained to gather . Can you do baptism online. Can you lay hands on line . Baby dedication .to mention few

So if people can gather online and funds can also be transferred online, what exactly is the persecution being screamed about here?

And oh, can we also extend this to mean people of other faith (Muslims, Buddhists etc) are also persecuted as their worship centres are also under lock and key?

And no one is stopping anyone from worshipping online.

Church buildings and other worship centres can reopen when the plague is over.

Unless of course divine healing can be guaranteed to anyone infected (Pastors included)

Of cos it's one of the persecution, and as the end of days draw nigh, they'd increase.... However at the end, the Lord Jesus will take the victorious one's home...
