Even Indians born & bred in Europe, away from the hot sun of the subcontinent are not white.

Fairness of skin is very highly desirable in India/Pakistan, etc. Especially in marriages. Many have confirmed it firsthand to me. There is much discrimination against the darkest among them like those from Tamil Nadu region.

The lighter skin Indians were originally from Persia axis, who invaded and drove the original darker Indians South.

At Present there are three main groups Present Europeans, Iranians and North Indian people. These all three originated from same source and thus related to each other. Y chromosome haplogroup analysis proves this as well. All these people share R1b (RM343)

During the Initial great migration from Danube Velly of Central Europe, One Group stayed in Germanic Regions (Today's Germany, Poland, Austria)
Rest went further towards what we called is Iran but one group went further deep upto Northern India.
