And in your debased mentality you think that is a basis to categorize all the indigens as lazy..... I'm also guessing your saintly and developed community is so lucrative and filled with opportunities and yet you sort greener pasture in a less developed and backward place..

My community is Ikoyi. You were saying?

You are CORRECT.
Most of the Youths down there have this sit at home ownership mentality.

I have always engaged them when I was into building of houses.
The moment you bring out HEAD PAN and SHOVEL, the community leader sends his boys, LG sends theirs, Vigilante sends theirs.
At some point you will curse the LAND you bought yourself.
I am telling you, you will spend money tire very useless lazy and extortion oriented people.

Thanks for your comment, I respect your view.
But check my thread very well, you will discovered that I said insiders are involved. What does that mean? the non members of the church have they been attending one of their programme in one way or the other, find out.

I dont get you? are you saying non members that use the hospital are forced or compelled to attend the church?

We need to hear from the other side of the divide.
May the Aluu community have a reason. Is the hospital actually free?

Please relocate to Eluama in Isukwuato local government area of Abia state. We are very appreciative, hospitable and accommodating. We are peace loving, development oriented. We will provide enough land and every other input you may need.

when i say nigerians are the most useless set of people, people think i am talking rubbish, it is only in nigeria u see shit like this, it is only in nigeria u see boys telling you that you must pay to tar their road. this one happened where i built a house. the road that leads t my house was not motorable, me and like 5 people in the are decided to tar it and make it motorable. u need to see how the street boys came out to do everything to stop us. they even threaten us badly, they will have carried out their threat if not for the intervention of uncle who happens to be an army commander. i dont even want to go into the cultism shit. it is only in naija u see them forming cults to kill fellow nigerian guys all in the name of hard man and girls. nigeria is a sht hole

Is it not Rivers State?

Where indigenes will stop contractors assigned to fix their bad road because of compensation.

If the contractor eventually leaves site due to pressure and violence, they still run back to Government crying foul.

You here them saying "Fix our Road, it is Eli Ndam".

Same "Eli Ndam" that was approved for construction but you chased the contractor away because of compensation.

Entitlement mentality has ruined the average Rivers Man.

It is everywhere, I know a community where two banks were built, but the oba of that community said they must pay before they open the branch.
Re: OPM Shuts Down Its Specialist Hospital In Aluu, Rivers State by Coldie(m): 11:06am On Jul 05, 2020
Where I stay in port Harcourt, obio akpor this is the reason why a community that has opened up since the 90's have never seen one single grader, the next community has developed, the community opposite has developed, community before it that one is a whole different ball game of development but ours is stagnant.

Bad roads have made it so worse that if it rains fences fall. Businesses have left the area, just petty shops littered all over, no reasonable hotel unemployment want kill the community youths, walk every two meters u must see smbodi telling u boss show me love nah.

What caused it, a man in govt during Chibuike Amaechis time that wasn't from the community or the LG tried to use his personal connections to help these people to fix their road, the moment the engineers came community youths and chief came out, told this man that he must settle community #15million, then buy goat and drink for their chief.

This man jejely waka leave them like that, since 2005 till now things got from worse to worstest.

No, they are not!

But try and get my point, the real members might be involved in first of all introducing them to the freebies and thereafter evangelising to persuade them. But please mark my word 'might". It means it might not be so. They can get the info through radio / TV program and so on.

Take Lagos State issues for example, during Fashola's era when they were contemplating taxing churches. The argument then was that some pastors are publishing books and get ready made market in their congregations but making it looks like church properties but traced to the author.

Try and understand, I'm not against the G. O. But the point is it involves insider feeding the community leaders it is now left for the leaders to apply wisdom just like Lagos State did.
Thanks!!!

The average Niger Delta man.
You will hardly see this in the North.
Hardly in the West.
Hardly in the East.

But the Niger Delta? They will shut down the road to a (non)oil producing companies until the company “give them jobs”.
In the end, “give them jobs”, they will be so useless at it (if they ever turn up). What they need is money per month to drink.

Hard truth, but anyone who has been at the receiving end of this treatment knows this is true. How can you stop a hospital operating in your place TREATING YOUR men, women and children free of charge?

Is this a curse or something?

I think he should pay and continue. To stop is to belittle God who has inspired you to get involved as not being able to afford it or cannot withstand the contradictions of man, the same contradictions Jesus felt every step of his ministry on earth. The very statement that the community is against him will not sit right in heaven. If you are sent go, simple.

The God who has resourced you knows all these things will happen. Nothing on earth has ever prevailed against the gospel. The truth is that Satan has once more manipulated the hearts of men to oppose. Its not about the money but the souls and God will spoil for a fight. The Almighty loves these kinds of challenges.

My goodness, can someone please help us and profile thos community leaders, so we can call them out for their unprecedented stupidity.

This is wickedness against their own. Their people should stone them. This man did what even their government is yet to do for them but here they are taxing him for rendering free medical care for them.

Shame on them.

ALUU community seems it is cursed as it is always on the news for wrong reason.

ALUU FOUR is still fresh in our minds.

please move to front page
Things like this go beyond just the leaders. The entire indigenes of that community must have a very warped mentality; the actions of their leaders is just a reflection of their collective mindset.

I'm from the ND region and I shudder how low our youths and elders have sunk. They'd rather have the community suffer. Served in Rivers and I can almost hear the youths muttering that the hospital should be closed down if they won't pay the "levy"....

No difference between them and Almjirai
