Is it not a better story regarding resilience to show these men fell yet got back up? The Bible paints them as humans with faults not superheroes. If mistakes had no use in life then God won’t program them into our DNA.

Then when a follower commits the same error he/she will be shuned upon, not knowing if the person saw their supposed man of God commit the same error and everybody kept quiet

Dear OP,

All these shouldn't come as a surprise to you. The bible talked about antichrists, these antichrists that the bible talks about won't fall from heaven or come out of the earth, they are humans just like us. Antichrists are real.

If you think modern day heretics and pulpit pimps in Nigeria are servants of God that shouldn't be judged by their behaviour and doctrines, then you are deluded.

The Bible warned us in Matthew 7.15..... to beware of false prophets "which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves".

How can we beware if we don't judge them by what they preach and their behaviour?

The standards God state in the bible as a characteristics of men of God should be the parameter to be used and one such example is exploiting the poor financially and making house of God as a house of merchandise and living a super lavish lifestyle including acquiring earthly wealth and treasures, which are all not common to Christ or his apostles.
Oyedepo, Adeboye, Oyakhilome, T.B Joshua, Mbaka, Odumeje, etc are all guilty of that.

TELL IT NOT IN GATH, PUBLISH IT NOT in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice; lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
2 Samuel 1:20 (Emphasis’ mine)

Sequel to an ignominious death of Saul, in the hands of the uncircumcised Philistines, David maintained in his lament that a torrent of abuse should not be published about his embarrassing death.

Worthy of mention is the fact that, Saul made himself an obtrusive enemy to David whilst he was alive.

Yet David would not permit the Israelites to share the news of his shameful death in such a way that the uncircumcised Philistines would hear it and rejoice.

Needless to say, we can liken the Philistines to unbelievers, while the Israelites represent the believers of the present world.

Nowadays, believers publicly spread the news of the errors of God’s servants (even fathers of faith are not spared) with no pang of remorse.

In fact, it seems we now take delight in looking for news that are demeaning to the Body of Christ in order to share them on our social media accounts. In addition, we pounce on negative news like Piranhas.

Sadly, there are pastors who publicly ridicule and speak disparagingly about their fellow ministers who are in error, forgetting that all humans are fallible.

Hence, we expose the Body of Christ to a whole series of attacks, ridicule, and vituperation from unbelievers through our unwise disposition towards Men of God.

However, much as I denounce the idea of spreading the news of the downfall/errors of ministers of God, I wouldn’t take sides with them on the atrocities they have committed. Bishop Oyedepo once stated that, ‘‘Sin is sin no matter who is sinning.’‘ I support this truth.

Nonetheless, it is tomfoolery to assume that God’s servants are infallible. The reason why many of us are taken by surprise is that we expect too much from them.

Listen, no man is infallible! Samson fell, Saul fell, Judas fell, even Peter would have fallen beyond restoration if not for the grace of God. May God keep us from falling till the end.

Love does not take delight in sharing evil but rejoices at the truth (1 Cor 13:6). Love protects! So, protect the ministries of other believers. Do not expose them to danger and assaults.

Therefore, walk in love. If we walk in love, the restoration of those who seemed to have fallen will be of concern to us, rather than their total fall or destruction.

Let’s follow this priceless injunction of the Scriptures in Galatians 6:1, which says;

”Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such as one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.”

Speak to them and if you cannot speak to them, pray for them. Let the restoration of every fallen minister be paramount to you and not their destruction.

May the Lord keep us till the end.

Are you a Jew who follows Judaism?
Or you are a Christian who is a reflection of the words and works of Jesus Christ and the Apostles?
What are you?
Jesus publicised the errors of God’s servants of His time- the Pharisees etc.
Paul publicised the error of Peter.
Paul encouraged the Christians in Berea to publicise the error of their pastors.
You have to study your Bible again.

Galatian 6:1 is only applicable to those church owners that want to truly repent.

So, if the church owner behaves like Akan in the Bible, Galatian 6:1 can't help them. And if you don't push them out, they will become a reproach to the whole body of Christ, like metastatic cancerous cells

Failure to publicise thier errors will make them arrogate too much powers and pride to themselves just as we are seeing in all of them now. They have become gods to their foolish members. Members have no gut to question them because of fear of wrath of god. Most especially those Ogun state religion merchants with billions in thier accounts

You like to criticize Buhari, you like to criticize your politicians because them commit error, but u nor wan criticize pastor if e commit error, That one na double standard na. You are not a christian then. Every man must, will, should and must expect criticism. Pastors are not exempted. If fact, only a man who don't want to get better should be afraid of criticism. There is a reason why Africa is the way it is today, simply because our leaders, both traditional, religious and government officials don't want anybody to question them. The question WHY is the first and only way to knowing more.

Why do Christian behave this way? Why do we turn all things upside down? Why do we mock God and call those his prophet or spoke men liers? God will not come down and speak to us physically but only through the holy spirit and his word. Why do we look or see the word of God as mere words devoid of any spiritual meanings that everything quoted from it looks merely words of men.

Let it be known to all that if the word of God is without meaning in our lives, we are counted like the lost. Men of God will always be men and they may make mistake as all of us; what is there in correcting them in love, will our not going for their throats erase what they have done or said.

What the OP wrote is not wrong and he never said others should keep quite and not talk, but let our rebuke and correction be in love and not in condemnation. We are all men, mistakes and misunderstanding will surely arise. We are men living in grace but we should not misuse it and not let others grief because of our harsh way of correction.

Anybody exposing the unclothedness of a man of God must do it with wisdom. He may curse you for bringing shame on his calling and he would quickly repent but you will suffer the consequences. That was what one of the sons of Noah did that attracted curse upon his life but the other two looked away and covered it.
what kind of useless curse are you talking about? If you think all these shits happens, why not experiment it on our evil politicians, the killer headsmen and Bokoharam so that we would live our lives peaceful? Pls, tell us something else. Curse my ass.

All these are mere stories

If the youths are serious
You will start whatever you can and want to do from your very ward, local government and state

The rules will no longer permit someone who has not raised voice to demand good governance in his immediate community but will prefer to making noise under the pretext of protest in another state

This time new rules new strategies

IamPlato:
God's servants?

Where are they exactly?

Is it the ones who helped Put Nigeria in this mess?

We don't need to criticize them because their errors are too obvious and funny enough many of them are not known by God...

By the way, there's is a solution and way forward for the youths now, I have a tactic or tactics based on a solution offer on Instagram by a man.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_B2h_-aPaU

Just listen to it

No time to wait people...

I am just doing God's work... I choose to save the youths life than waste it or allow it be wasted by these men who are cans of worm

Yet same pastors or ministers are quick to criticise political leaders, ministers of other faith / denominations. Guy, the problem with us here in Nigeria is this mentality. Hence some pastors commit crime, abuse others, preach wrongly or say things out of their imaginations but not biblical etc. And we keep quiet because they are ministers? God forbid. Many of them now see themselves as beyond man and they can never make mistakes. They can only advise, chastise, correct, and rebuke others. But no one should correct them or do the same when they make mistakes because they are "saints" who do no wrong. Because everything they say comes from God.. ....

My people perish for lack of knowledge. We always quote scriptures out of context. That's what most pastors do and this OP just did the same
