NIGERIA reports that the immediate past National Vice Chairman (North-West), of the All Progressives Congress, Inuwa Abdulkadir, is dead. It was learned that the APC chieftain died on Monday morning after a protracted illness. Abdulkadir is coming weeks after the death of the former governor of Oyo state and the immediate past National Vice Chairman (South-West) of the party, Abiola Ajimobi. Confirming his death, the immediate past National Vice Chairman (North) of the APC, Senator Lawal Shuaibu, said his colleague has died and will be buried according to Muslim rites. Abdulkadir was a member of APC’s National Working Committee that was recently dissolved by the party’s NEC. He was also a former Minister of Youth and Sports Development during the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan. Until his death, Abdulkadir was the chairman Governing Council of the Sokoto State University.
