Old Students of Ikpomaza Grammar School, Okpella in Edo State have urged the state governor, Godwin Obaseki to investigate an alleged encroachment of the school's landed property by a prominent politician in the area.

A member of the Old Students Association, Earl Osaro Onaiwu who made the request of behalf of the association said they were bewildered to know that a sizable part of the school's land has been illegitimately grabbed by the said politician who is an indigene of the town who served in the immediate past administration in the state.

He said the association discovered the anomaly while trying to upgrade facilities in their alma mater, saying the encroachment has greatly inhibited their development plans for the school.

He therefore urged the Edo State governor to intervene in the matter by instituting a thorough investigation with a view to reclaiming the encroached property.

The politician is the Afegbua, just because he is against Obaseki, Osaro and his gang are now seeing this period as the best time to punish him.
